Matsapha – Council is currently engaged in the process of developing a new Integrated Development Plan that will be used to guide the town’s developmental and strategic objectives of the town for the next five years. To assist in the development of this new strategic plan, Council conducted an extensive stakeholder engagement exercise which began with a Matsapha Business Forum on the 9th of June 2023.
In the next coming weeks, Council in collaboration with the consulting company appointed by Council to develop the Integrated Development Plan will continue to engage with key stakeholders of the town of Matsapha to receive inputs and views on what Council could focus on, in the stipulated five years of the plan.
Active participation in these engagement assist Council to make decisions based on the needs and aspirations of the ratepayers and stakeholders of the town, therefore active participation by the community of the town is important.
