Matsapha – In a bid to improve the speed and frequency of the removal of stray cattle within the streets of the town, Council has procured a cattle trailer that will be used to transport stray cattle to the animal pound station in Manzini. Through the usage of this new asset, Council has removed a total number of 147 stray cattle.
Council’s Transport and Security Officer encourages livestock owners to ensure that their cattle are well secured in their properties and failure to do so might result in their cattle being impounded by Council. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to contact Council if they see stray animals roaming the streets of the town, and Council will respond accordingly.
