Mobile Private Clinic
The Mobile Clinic popularly known as ‘Kubambisana Ngemphilo Yemmango’ aims to reduce new HIV and TB infections among the 15 to 49 years populace of Matsapha and increase the workforce health and productivity. This is an initiative between the President’s Plan for Emergency Fund for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Conco and Matsapha Town Council.
The mobile clinic provides health information and services to the urban and peri-urban population. The clinic works in collaboration with the Kwaluseni Inkhundla and the business sector within Matsapha. Chiefdoms visited under the Kwaluseni Inkhundla are Logoba; Mhlane; Kwaluseni and Mbikwakhe. To communicate operating sites and times, a monthly schedule is shared with the Inkhundla and other stakeholders.
