As we begin the 2024/2025 financial year, Council has begun the process of sending the 2024/25 rates bills to property owners of Matsapha. Ratepayers are encouraged to pay their rates in full or make payment installment arrangements with Council before the end of June 2024.
Property owners are requested to pay either by cash at the Council Offices or by electronic funds transfer using the bank accounts that will be specified on the invoice or contact the Town Treasury department at 7802 0196 or by email to accountantincome@matsapha.co.sz.

MTC’S KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER DRIVE
To improve communication between Council and Ratepayers, Council is currently implementing a Know Your Customer Initiative. This initiative aims to update the Ratepayer’s contact details to ensure that any form of communication from Council is on time. This could include the sharing of statements to ratepayers by Council through the preferred communications mode by ratepayers. Ratepayers can update their details online through Council’s website at www.matsapha.co.sz.
