Matsapha – Council, through its collaboration with the One-Sight and Grace Vision foundation, undertook an exciting free eye care week initiative that began on the 20th of November 2023 till the 24th of November 2023. This important initiative saw hundreds of Emaswati from all four regions of the country converging at the Matsapha civic centre where the temporal eye care clinic was located. The main aim of this initiative was to provide free optometry services as well as dispensing free reading and eye protection glasses to patients upon diagnosis and consultation with eye care professionals.
Council would like to extend its utmost & heartfelt gratitude to One-sight and Grace Vision Foundation for picking to offer this essential service in Matsapha. Council would also like to commend the contribution made by CONCO Eswatini, Viva Beverages, and Pick N Pay for providing drinking water to the patients who visited Council during the duration of this initiative.
