Council would like to notify business establishments within the town of Matsapha of the ongoing tax education campaign, named Bafundzise Education Campaign, initiated by the Eswatini Revenue Authority. The campaign began on the 7th of May 2025. A team from the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) is currently visiting all the town’s businesses for the above-mentioned purposes. Please allow them a few moments of your valuable time and be empowered with all the information relating to tax. You will also be allowed to ask any questions you may have regarding tax or the ERS. The team from ERS is identifiable through their branded uniforms and official IDS. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
RATES COLLECTION FOR THE 2025/2026 FINANCIAL YEAR
As we begin the 2024/2025 financial year, Council has finalised the process of sending the 2025/26 rates bills to property owners of Matsapha. Ratepayers are encouraged to pay their rates in full or make payment instalment arrangements with Council before the end of June 2025.
Property owners are requested to pay either by cash at the Council Offices or by electronic funds transfer using the bank accounts that will be specified on the invoice or contact the Town Treasury department at 7802 0196 or by email to accountantincome@matsapha.co.sz.
