Matsapha – On 1st November 2023, Eswatini Beverages in collaboration with Matsapha Town Council launched the Installation of pedestrian bollards project. Through this project, Eswatini Beverages donated $ 20,000.00 (approximately E380 000. 00) towards the implementation of this important project.

Speaking during the launch, the Eswatini Beverages Country Director stated that Eswatini Beverages, they are passionate about road safety as a business. “This year we are funding the installation of pedestrian bollards for possibly the busiest pedestrian walkway in the country. It’s a pedestrian stretch of 1.7 km, beginning from the Police College Road, past Mathangeni to the MR3 Highway”.
Present during the project launch was the Chairperson of Council, Cllr. Mndeni Simelane commended Eswatini Beverages for their commitment to playing a part in the development of Matsapha as well. This launch was graced by senior government officials from the Ministry of Housing & Urban Development, the Ministry of Public Works & Transport, the Road Transportation Board, and the Road Safety Council.
This project is expected to be implemented over a period of two months, beginning in November 2023.
