Matsapha – As a way of enhancing active participation by Matsapha stakeholders, Council has begun with an extensive stakeholder engagement exercise aimed at providing feedback to ratepayers on the progress that has been made by Council in delivering services in the town, focusing on the major infrastructural projects in the town as per the current Integrated Development Plan.
This initiative is led by the office of the Town Clerk, and Council through this exercise aims at creating long-term working relationships with the stakeholders of the town to ensure that there is a united concerted effort by all stakeholders towards the development of the town.
The first stakeholder engagement meeting was held between Council and Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA) where officials between these organizations deliberated extensively on a wide range of developmental issues faced by the town. More of these engagements are scheduled for the following months and Council is looking forward to engaging in obtaining the views of stakeholders towards making Matsapha a fully developed town.
