Matsapha – On the 24th of June 2023, registered voters of the town of Matsapha will be heading to the polls to elect Councillors who will form part of the governance structure of Council for the next five years. Registered voters are required to bring their National Identity Cards when going to vote, and the Voting process will begin at 07:00 am – 06:00 pm at the three identified elections stations in Matsapha. Matsapha has 20 candidates competing for the six (6) vacant ward Councillor positions and they are reminded the campaigning period ends on 23 June 2023. Candidates are reminded to ensure that they remove all of their campaign materials in public areas on the last day of campaigning.
