New Matsapha Depot Ablutions Ready For Use

Matsapha Town Council Chairperson, Cllr Alice Russo, officially opened the Matsapha Town Council’s Depot Ablutions, yesterday, on the 18th of September 2019.  The opening was well attended by Matsapha Councillors and Matsapha Town Council employees.

The construction of the facility took 4 months to construct starting on the 25th of March 2019 and completed on the 16th of August 2019. Matsapha Chairperson, Cllr Russo during her remarks declared that the project was funded through Government grant and was worth half a million. The facility includes toilets, showers, changing and storage rooms.

In her closing remarks, Russo urged all the employees to enjoy the place and of course not forget to take care of it. “If you see a hand print on the wall, you need to all take it upon yourselves to clean that handprint of the wall”, she added. Russo Thanked all who contributed to the construction and the constructor for having done an exceptionally great job and shortly after proceeded to the cutting of the ribbon which officially marked the opening of the newly built facility.
