YKK Corporation celebrates its 45th anniversary of existence in the Kingdom of Eswatini by making a donation of 45 trees to Matsapha Town Council. With this donation, the company seeks to promote greening and maximize tree planting in order to ensure that Matsapha becomes an integrated town that has multiple environmental and social benefits for the present and future generation.
Having been in the Kingdom of Eswatini since the 28th of June 1976, the company has grown to greater heights due to its commitment to the its employees, customers, suppliers and its partners. Over the years, the company has remained committed in ensuring that it participates in nature conservation activities which are in line with the YKK Group’s Environmental Vision of 2050 and the Kingdom of Eswatini 10 million-tree planting initiative.
Through its guiding principle of planting and growing the right tree in the right place, for the right purpose, the company the donated the following trees:
